I’m Joachim Wolfmaier – a passionate amateur photographer from the beautiful Remstal region near Stuttgart, Germany.

In 2018, following a challenging period in my life, I began searching for balance and discovered a new passion: photography.

I started with macro and landscape shots in my local area and later became captivated by the quiet thrill of wildlife photography.

For me, it’s not about chasing iconic photo locations. It’s about experiencing the quietness of nature, far from the crowds. One of my core principles is to observe without disturbing – always respecting the natural environment and its wildlife.

What inspires me most are the subtle, minimalist moments – those small works of art in nature that reveal themselves when you take the time to truly look.
