my name is Joachim Wolfmaier and I am a passionate amateur photographer from the beautiful Remstal near Stuttgart.

In 2018, after a difficult phase in my life, I was looking for a balance and found a new passion. I started out doing macro and landscape photography in my local area and later discovered the excitement of photographing wildlife

It's not about ticking off famous photo spots for me, but rather looking for the calmness of nature away from the crowds. Elementary in my adventures is not to disturb nature and wildlife.

I especially love the minimalist quiet moments, the small works of art in nature that just want to be discovered.
